I’m a husband, a dad, and a songwriter living with my family on a farm in Middle Tennessee.
I spent a lot of years making records, traveling, and playing music for a living. Then I stepped away. I wanted to be home while my kids were growing up, so for several years I quit releasing music, public life, and social media.
Now I’m making things again.
Not because I’m trying to get back to where I was. I’m grateful for where I am. The life my wife and I have made is good. I’m making music again because I still have songs to write, things worth sharing, and I’m looking forward to whatever comes next.
Most of what you’ll find here comes from the life I’m actually living: marriage, family, faith, getting older, life on the farm, and trying to be faithful with whatever is in front of me.
Sometimes that’s a song. Sometimes it’s a hymn on the porch, a story from the farm, or something I’m learning from Scripture. I don’t see much separation between any of it. It’s all part of the same life.
After 14 years, I’m releasing new music again. I’m glad you’re here for it.
